The Mercury

3810 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010

Overview

The Mercury, built in 1962, is a Claude Beelman mid-century modern architectural landmark in the heart of Koreatown. Formerly the headquarters of the Getty Oil Company, it was re-invented into 238 luxury high rise residences in 2006 by Forest City Development. Its vertically oriented exterior is composed of white marble, grey anodized aluminum and bronze glass, giving The Mercury a sleek, polished appearance. The Mercury touts a central location convenient to Downtown, Hollywood, Hancock Park and movie studios. The state-of-the-art rooftop dubbed "23" is a combination recreational center, resort-style pool, spa, fitness center, fire pit, event lawn, seating coves and barbecue area.
