The Walnut Building

Built in 1921 and renovated in 2018 by Hillcrest, the Walnut Building offers authentic industrial artist studios with the highest level of comforts, services, and amenities downtown LA has to offer. The building features much of the original character with stunning industrial windows, classic exposed brick, and polished concrete flooring. Units feature dramatic ceiling heights, unobstructed views, sun drenched spaces and high end modern finishes. The combination of industrial and contemporary design make The Walnut Building the new star of the Arts District. The building’s exterior features a mural by Vhils, a Portuguese artist whose groundbreaking bas-relief carving technique can be seen on his installations around the world.
